Engineering value through AI

AI that reaches production

A great deal of AI work stalls somewhere between a promising pilot and something a business can depend on. We build the part that survives contact with real users and real data.

See it in production

We are your experienced partner on the journey to becoming a data-driven and AI-powered enterprise. Most organisations do not struggle with ambition. They struggle with legacy systems, data silos, skill gaps and cultural resistance.

  • A proof of concept works, but nobody can say what it would take to run it
  • Data is spread across systems that were never designed to be joined up
  • Models behave in testing and drift once they meet real traffic
  • Nobody owns what happens when an AI system is wrong in production

Our expertise

Four disciplines that have to work together. Strategy needs engineering behind it, and engineering needs a data foundation underneath it.

  • AI Readiness & Strategy

Define a clear roadmap to turn your data into a strategic asset. We provide the guidance you need to start, scale and deliver tangible ROI.

  • AI & Machine Learning Engineering

We build AI applications and agents on the leading foundation models, and machine learning models where a problem calls for one, from recommendations and predictive analytics to natural language processing.

  • Data Platforms & Analytics

Our engineers build scalable, robust data platforms and pipelines: the essential foundation for powerful analytics and AI workloads.

  • Agile for AI Development

Our agile methods are tailored for complex data and AI projects, ensuring faster time-to-market and continuous delivery of business value.

Why choose Merapar?

Our unique approach is centred on collaborative execution and opinionated engineering, delivering measurable benefits that drive your business forward.

  • Drive Growth & Maximise ROI: Make smarter decisions, boost productivity, and optimise resources to ensure cost-effective results.
  • Ensure Agility & Resilience: Build flexible platforms that can adapt to market changes, provide personalised customer experiences, and run with continuous, reliable support.
A wheel of seven outcomes around the Merapar mark - enhanced decision making, improved operational efficiency, innovation and competitive advantage, enhanced customer understanding, adaptability to market changes, optimised resourcing, and reliability and supportability - labelled collaborative execution, opinionated engineering, quality and supportability

Client case: what production actually demands

Hartley, one of our clients, is a household management app that reads, files and tracks the paperwork a home generates. Merapar built it for them end to end, from proof of concept to a live app on iOS and Android in under eight months.

The model choice mattered less than everything built around it:

  • Trust was established before the build. Direct user research into how comfortable households are with an AI reading private documents shaped the roadmap before a single production feature was written.
  • Multi-model by design. Gemini on Vertex AI for the consumer assistant, Claude on Amazon Bedrock running autonomous production triage. The architecture makes swapping models easy, because the landscape keeps moving.
  • Quality held by automation. An evaluation harness replays test scenarios against every change, so agent quality is a build gate rather than a hope.

Responsible AI by design

In the age of AI, trust is not a given; it must be earned. Our commitment ensures we build solutions that are not only powerful but also ethical, transparent, and accountable. This mitigates risk, ensures compliance and builds a sustainable competitive advantage for our clients.

  • Governance

Establishing clear frameworks for accountability to mitigate unintended harms.

  • Compliance

Ensuring adherence to evolving regulations and industry standards like the EU AI Act.

  • Ethics

Promoting fairness, preventing bias and prioritising social responsibility in every solution we build.

Start with the problem, not the technology

Most conversations we have begin with something that is not working: a pilot that cannot be put into production, data that will not join up, a model nobody wants to be responsible for. Tell us about yours and we will be straight with you about what it would take.
