    It all began!

    Merapar was founded by entrepreneurs and seasoned architects from the telecoms, media and technology sector.

  2. 2016

    The Merapar team in the Netherlands

    Merapar Netherlands

    We start to build our team in the Netherlands, with our head office in Veldhoven and offices in Amsterdam.

  3. 2017

    The AWS Advanced Consulting Partner badge

    AWS

    We become an AWS Consulting Partner.

  4. 2018

    Merapar Poland

    We start to build our team in Poland to support our growth.

    AWS Media & Entertainment Services Competency

    We achieve a significant milestone in the cloud technology domain: obtaining the AWS Media & Entertainment Services Competency. This accomplishment is a confirmation of our technical expertise and deep understanding of the media and entertainment industry’s needs.

    New Chapter with alfa1 group

    Our journey with alfa1 group has been evolving for some time. In 2025, we officially step forward, bringing this partnership into the spotlight. While we continue to innovate as cloud-native transformation experts, being part of alfa1 group strengthens our ability to scale, collaborate, and take on even bigger challenges.

  11. 2026

    An AI-native Merapar

    Merapar transforms into an AI-native organisation, with agentic AI at the heart of how we work. The Merapar Agentic SDLC puts agents inside the software lifecycle itself, planning, building, testing, shipping and watching production, with people at every decision point. Our engineers certify as Claude Certified Architects, and Merapar is Certified in the Claude Partner Network.
